Come Lord Jesus

I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written in this book. He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming quickly." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen. Revelation 22:18-21 (NASB)

Who testifies to this prophecy? The Apostle John wrote this book...with inspiration of the Holy Spirit. So he is the one testifying. Can you imaging what he experienced seeing the visions of the end times?
     - And he said to me, "Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near." Revelation 22:10 (NASB)

The time is near. I know several people who are convinced that not only are we in the end times--but that the end is imminent.That's right...about to happen.Watch for signs in the sky. Red sky in the night, sailor's delight...red sky in the morning, sailor take warning. Jesus gave His disciples clues for the end times. Wars and rumors of wars...famines and earthquakes. See Mark 13.

Are you looking for signs of the end times?


Prayer – Lord God, may we distinctly see the blessings that You are giving us as we wait for Jesus return. Help us not to just have hindsight…looking back and saying “Oh, yes. Now I see that God blessed me last year…or ten years ago.” Let us see You in action in our lives every day, moment by moment. Our hope is not just in going to Heaven to be with You someday…but in the reality that You are with us ALWAYS—even now today.
