No fear.
Jesus warns us not to fear other people—but to fear Satan who can destroy a
person’s body and soul in hell. He reminds us of how important we are to our
Heavenly Father—we are worth more than lots of sparrows. Sparrows weren’t worth
much during Jesus’ time…and they are not worth much now. Why would they be of
much value? They are just plain little brown birds, but they do eat weed seeds
and bugs—so they have more value that most people would give them. What value
do we have? We don’t eat weed seeds or bugs—yet God values us. Give Him the
glory and honor.
