Some people are just know it alls…and I find myself always
having an answer for someone’s questions, comments or problems. Jesus is saying
here in this passage of Jeremiah that we need to call on Him for answers to our
problems. That is what He was saying to the Israelites through Jeremiah there
in the land of Babylon. He was going to bring them all home… They will be my people, and I will be their God. Jeremiah 32:38. He would restore them to their land…their
home…and help them to rebuild the temple. Then He promised to tell them…teach
them…great unsearchable things. They didn’t have the advantage of the internet
then. Now we can search to find out information about anything we want to know
about—people, places, events or things. What is it that is your heart’s desire
to know? Is it something about which you can ask Jesus? He is the source of all
wisdom. Ask Him.
RSVP: Jesus is inviting you to ask Him about—whatever. He
has the answers. How will you respond to Him today?
Prayer ~ Jesus, please give me wisdom to know what to
ask and grace not to answer other people’s questions too quickly. You can solve
their problems…not me.
