David wrote this Psalm when the Lord delivered him from his enemies, including King Saul. It is repeated in 2 Samuel 22. Lord, how I love you! For you have done such tremendous things for me. The Lord is my fort where I can enter and be safe; no one can follow me in and slay me. He is a rugged mountain where I hide; he is my Savior, a rock where none can reach me, and a tower of safety. He is my shield. He is like the strong horn of a mighty fighting bull. All I need to do is cry to him—oh, praise the Lord—and I am saved from all my enemies! Psalm 18:1-3 LT. God is… "I AM WHO I AM." Exodus 3:14.
God is eternal—forever has been, forever will be. He is creator, redeemer,
savior, judge, merciful, almighty, strength, power, King of Kings, Lord of
Lords, Father, love, good, provider, sanctifier, peace, immutable, transcendent,
just, holy, healer, physician, priest, mediator, intercessor, self-sufficient, infinite,
omniscient, omnipresent, sovereign, victor, wise, faithful, wrathful, full of
grace, comforter, head of the church, friend, Emmanuel—with us always, Word,
Alpha and Omega, the Light of the World, Hope and…God is Spirit. Who is God to
you? Trust Him to be your God—for He is all of this…and more.
RSVP: Jesus is continually revealing
Himself to you. Do you see Him for who He is? Jesus is God. How will you
respond to His offer of Hope, strength, and peace in your life today?
