God
decided in advance to adopt us into His own family by bringing us to Himself
through Jesus Christ. This is what He wanted to do, and it gave Him great
pleasure. So we praise God for the glorious grace He has poured out on
us who belong to His dear Son. He is so rich in kindness and grace that He
purchased our freedom with the blood of His Son and forgave our sins. He has
showered His kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding. Ephesians 1:5-8 NLT
Praise God
from whom all blessings flow…. I feel so blessed to be part of God’s family. As
I consider God’s gift to us…sacrificing His Son so that one day we may approach
His throne in a white robe—pure and spotless before Him—I am overwhelmed. Do
you feel that joy, too? He is so generous and full of grace. What a gift…and it
isn’t even my birthday!
For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD gives
grace and glory; no good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly. Psalms 84:11
See to it that no one comes short of the grace of
God; that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many be
defiled…. Hebrews 12:15
RSVP: God is
offering you a present today whether it is your birthday or not. His gift is His
Son and a pure life for eternity. How will you respond to this gracious gift?
Can you share it with others?
Prayer~ God, You
have given us a gift and promised that by grace we have been saved through
faith; and not of ourselves or anything we have done. Ephesians 2:8 Thank
you.
Happy Birthday #5 – Isaac.
God Loves You and I Love You—and that’s
how it should be.
