Faith or Works?

But someone may well say, "You have faith and I have works; show me your faith without the works, and I will show you my faith by my works." James 2:18  

Actions speak louder than words. You can tell your kids to “be kind” a zillion times, but if you are not kind to them…how will they learn. The same with faith. Yackity-yak. Show your faith by what you do, as well as by what you say. See 1 John 3:18…Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth.  

Training Tip – Be that shining example that your kids need. Take them to church…don’t just send them off on Sunday morning. Jesus said…“Let the children come to me. Don't stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children.” Luke 18:16 NLT. So go with your kids to church next Sunday…then let them see your faith in action as you help others during the week…and read your Bible. Get to know God…and take your family along with you as you seek to know and serve the Lord. 

Lord God, we love you and want to serve You by serving others.
