What Do We Do After Resurrection Sunday?

Prayer – Lord Jesus, what do we do after we celebrate Your resurrection? The disciples had to wait for the Holy Spirit—but we are filled with the Spirit when we first believe in You as our Savior…and anytime we ask for a fresh infilling. Help me to share my faith and love as I help others to know You, Jesus.

I always thank my God when I pray for you, Philemon, because I keep hearing about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all of God's people. And I am praying that you will put into action the generosity that comes from your faith as you understand and experience all the good things we have in Christ. Your love has given me much joy and comfort, my brother, for your kindness has often refreshed the hearts of God's people. Philemon 1:4-7 NLT

Meditate. Consider God’s guidance in scripture.

Worship Him
...in Spirit and in Truth.

What can we do after we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ? We can obediently serve Him, continue to study all the scriptures in the Old and New Testaments, and focus on His will for our lives. As we learn more about Jesus, and pray continually, new insights will become evident.

For God chose to save us through our Lord Jesus Christ, not to pour out his anger on us. Christ died for us so that, whether we are dead or alive when he returns, we can live with him forever. So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:9-11 NLT

God chose to save each of us. Now the choice is yours—to accept what Jesus has done for you; to grow in His knowledge and grace; and to encourage others…or not. I’ve chosen to accept Jesus as my Savior—and to continue to worship Him day by day after Resurrection Sunday. Every day.

Verse of Salvation ~ "When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love, he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit. He generously poured out the Spirit upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior. Because of his grace he declared us righteous and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life." Titus 3:4-7 NLT
