Prayer – Lord, I love the song “Worthy is the Lamb” that was written just about You—for You are worthy. Like those angels and elders, I fall down worshipping and praising You—now. I’m not waiting until I get to heaven.
Then I looked again, and I heard the voices of
thousands and millions of angels around the throne and of the living beings and
the elders. And they sang in a mighty chorus: "Worthy is the Lamb who was
slaughtered—to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and
glory and blessing." And then I heard every creature in heaven and on
earth and under the earth and in the sea. They sang: "Blessing and honor
and glory and power belong to the one sitting on the throne and to the Lamb forever
and ever." And the four living beings said, "Amen!" And the
twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped the Lamb. Revelation 5:11-14
Meditate. Read God’s word. Are you listening to what He is
saying?
Amen! Worthy is the Lamb!
Do you feel that way? Is Jesus—the Lamb of God—your savior?
Are you trusting Him? Do you allow Him to have power in your life? Are you
giving Him glory and honor?
A million angel as well as every creature in heaven and on
earth—under the earth and in the sea—could make a lot of racket when they are
all singing to the Lord. Worthy is the Lamb! I believe that Jesus took
my sins to the cross, died there, and rose from the dead. The blood that Jesus
shed on the cross when He died on the very day of Passover made Him the
sacrificial lamb. Worthy is the Lamb!
Amen! So be it.
Verse of Salvation ~ This is what the LORD says:
"At just the right time, I will respond to you. On the day of salvation I
will help you. I will protect you and give you to the people as my covenant
with them. Through you I will reestablish the land of Israel and assign it to
its own people again. I will say to the prisoners, 'Come out in freedom,' and
to those in darkness, 'Come into the light.' They will be my sheep, grazing in
green pastures and on hills that were previously bare. Isaiah 49:8-9
