Meditate—but not
too long.
Arise,
O LORD, in anger! Stand up against the fury of my enemies! Wake up, my God, and
bring justice! Gather the nations before you. Rule over them from on high. The
LORD judges the nations. Declare me righteous, O LORD, for I am innocent, O
Most High! End the evil of those who are wicked, and defend the righteous. For
you look deep within the mind and heart, O righteous God. God is my shield,
saving those whose hearts are true and right. God is an honest judge. He is
angry with the wicked every day. If a person does not repent, God will sharpen
his sword; he will bend and string his bow. Psalm 7:6-12
David’s enemy
as he was writing this Psalm was Cush of the Benjamin tribe. The enemy of the
world right now is this COVID-19. We want God to be angry with it…to wake up
and bring justice…and end the evil.

| Harvest is ripe. |
God is at
work in lives here and now…in those whose hearts are true and right. It is so
heart-warming to see people reaching out to help and support each other during
this stressful time of shut-down and isolation. But God has not forgotten us…and
He will never leave us or forsake us. Just gotta hang onto that…and be His
hands and feet whenever and wherever we can…while keeping our distance. Phone
calls are great…so are FaceTime and live FaceBook events.
Prayer –Thank You Lord—that You will
never leave us or forsake us. We trust that You have a plan. Jesus, You told us…You
know the saying, 'Four months between planting and harvest.' But I say, wake up
and look around. The fields are already ripe for harvest. John 4:35 NLT.
Thank you for the wake-up call. I just ask that lots of people would hear Your
call and respond by repenting.
