For
the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through
Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23
God doesn’t charge anything for His free gift. It is a gift that a person has to accept…just like any other gift. Consider when you are given something…a gift…you have to open that and accept it before it is yours. So God has given us a free gift—are you willing to accept it? I have. This free gift from God triumphs over sin and gives life—eternal life.
But thank God! He gives us victory over sin
and death through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:57
And because you belong to him, the power of the
life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.
Romans 8:2
What a
glorious, liberating revelation. We are freed from the power of sin…because of
Jesus. Because of His sacrifice for mankind.
Prayer
~ Lord Jesus, I treasure that You are a gift from our heavenly Father. You have
provide me with eternal spiritual security and with everything I need and
more…from parking places, warm clothes during this cold winter, a comfortable
home and loving family. I have it all…and You. I look forward to seeing You
face to face one day….and throughout eternity. Please continue to bless me, my
family and friends and all who read this blog…and especially those who search
for You in Your Word today.
