Holy Spirit is the Only Spirit Here

The Spirit alone gives eternal life. Human effort accomplishes nothing. And the very words I have spoken to you are spirit and life. John 6:63 NLT

Jesus says it so bluntly—straight forward and honestly. Only the Holy Spirit gives eternal life—people can’t do it on their own…Human effort accomplishes nothing. Nothing! No good works, kindness or monetary gift will give eternal life with Christ to anyone—to get them to heaven—the holy place. The Holy Spirit guides us to the knowledge of Christ and purifies our hearts and minds. No evilness in heaven—in eternal life. Only holiness—purity is necessary to stand in the presence of the Heavenly Father.

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever.  Jude 1:24-25

Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful…. Hebrews 10:19-23

Prayer ~ Holy Spirit…Now may our God and Father Himself and Jesus our Lord direct our way to the lost people of our neighborhood and community; and may the Lord cause us to increase and abound in love for one another, and for all people, so that He may establish our hearts without blame in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all His saints. 1 Thessalonians 3:11-13
