Respond to God's Love

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved
through Him.  John 3:16-17

Classic verses. These are ones that most children memorize. Maybe if you haven't memorized John 3:16, you may want to do it now. God's love is so immense, intense, unending, unfailing, forgiving, accepting, unconditional, eternal and totally beyond comprehension.

Do you have a child? Could you give up that child so that others could live? That is just what God did for us. He had a plan...and it was several thousand years after Adam and Eve rebelled that God's plan was fulfilled. Jesus came to earth, lived, taught, and died on a cross for the sins of all humanity. God the Father invites us to believe in His Son so that we will not perish--but have eternal life. Forgiven and purified so that we can stand before the very throne of God.

RSVP: God the Father has offered His invitation. How will you respond today?

Prayer ~ Heavenly Father, I adore you and I humbly come before you acknowledging that Jesus is Your Son and my Savior.
