How often do you remember to “thank the Lord” for what He provides for you…and what He has done for you? It’s not Thanksgiving, but are you thankful on a daily basis anyway?
Giving
thanks to the LORD is a continuing theme throughout the Book of Psalms. One of
most favorite verses to express thanksgiving talks being filled with joy and
then about bursting out in song. That’s just how I feel when I am full of joy—I
just want to sing. Life becomes like a real live theatrical musical. Although
life isn’t like that, it is surprising that some people just know a lot of
songs and sing them when the occasion fits. I once worked with a lady like
that. She had a song for everything…well almost everything! For me, the hills and
my home are alive with music because the LORD is my strength.
The LORD is my strength and shield.
I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I
burst out in songs of thanksgiving. Psalm
28:7
I give
thanks to the LORD for so many things—but I am most grateful and seek the LORD’s
blessing on my family, friends, community, food, home, and health. God is good.
I know He hears our prayers and praises.

Prayer
– Lord Jesus, You are worthy of my praise and thankfulness. My heart does
nearly burst with gratefulness knowing that You are the Lamb of God and the red
heifer that provided the atonement for our sins and the redemption of our souls.
You are the living God…resurrected. Thank You. Your faithful love lasts—endures
forever.
Meditate.
Consider thankfulness.
Verse
of Salvation ~ As for us, we can't help but thank God for you, dear brothers
and sisters loved by the Lord. We are always thankful that God chose you to be
among the first to experience salvation—a salvation that came through the
Spirit who makes you holy and through your belief in the truth. 2 Thessalonians 2:13
