Who is a Friend of God?

Prayer – Lord God, I love You with all my heart, soul, mind and strength—and that is the best anyone can offer a friend…love from the heart. You are worthy of all admiration, praise, honor and thanksgiving.

So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God. Romans 5:11 NLT

Meditate. Rejoice.

This past week did you look for God—really seek Him? Did you find Him? This isn’t a game of Hide and Seek—this is real life—and your choices will determine eternity for you. Choose God, follow Him, developing a true relationship and you’ll one day find yourself in Heaven eternally—forever. If you reject God—your eternity will be without God in a tormenting darkness without God. Read Revelation to confirm that hypothesis. I choose God—to live to please Him—and am so looking forward to an eternity of serving Him in Heaven! I hear it is a wonderful place—I want to go there. How about you? Choose God…or reject Him? So how is your relationship with God?  He was a friend of Abraham and Moses.

And so it happened just as the Scriptures say: "Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith." He was even called the friend of God. James 2:23

Inside the Tent of Meeting, the LORD would speak to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend…. Exodus 33:11

Do you consider Him to be your friend? Are you His friend? The choice is yours.

Verse of Salvation ~ Do not turn your back on me. Do not reject your servant in anger. You have always been my helper. Don't leave me now; don't abandon me, O God of my salvation! ... Yet I am confident I will see the LORD's goodness while I am here in the land of the living. Wait patiently for the LORD. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the LORD. Psalm 27:9, 13-14 NLT
