Is It Time to Renovate and Renew?

Prayer – Jesus, help me, as well as my family and friends, to renew our minds that we would be more pleasing to You in all we think, do, and say.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2

Renew your mind. Put in some new stuff—read in God’s word that is cleansing and refreshing. It can renovate your mind, soul, and spirit.

Spring tulips. Clean and fresh.
Renew me...like the tulips.

Create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit in me…Psalm 51:10.

Beginning fresh with a clean heart is a good thing to consider during lent…and a desirable way to embark on spring. Plan ahead to set yourself a new course. I think I’ll do just that. Evaluate where I’ve been this year so far…and where I’m going for the rest of the year…spiritually.  Where have you been…where are you going?

Meditate. Jesus is inviting us to renew our minds…to seek to be more like Him and to do God’s will. What will you choose to do as you respond to Him today?

Verse of Salvation ~ For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Titus 3:3-7 NKJV
