The Empty Tomb - Jerusalem |
The tomb was empty…and then they remembered
what Jesus had said. He would rise from the dead…on the third day. Puzzled and
terrified. It was hard for them to understand what happened…and was happening.
Jesus fulfilled the promise. He was obedient to the Father. He suffered rejection
by His creation—the very people He came to minister to and save. He suffered
humiliation of beating, being spit on, mocked and cursed, and ultimately of
being crucified on a cross. He died for the sin of mankind. His resurrection
provides salvation and gives us hope—hope and a future. An eternal home with
Him.
Will you accept that He died for your sin?
Ask for forgiveness and joyfully accept what Jesus Christ has done for you?
