Trust with Your Heart—All Your Heart

Lent – Day 5
Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take. Proverbs 3:5-6

With all your heart. Trust the Lord…trust Him to take care of you. Don’t depend on your mind making decisions for you. Look for His guidance and His will for your life. He will show you what to do…where to go. There are lots of scriptures about the “heart” and “trusting” the Lord.

The LORD is my strength and shield. I trust Him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving. Psalm 28:7

Trust in the LORD and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. Psalm 37:3

But blessed are those who trust in the LORD and have made the LORD their hope and confidence. Jeremiah 17:7

And you must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength. Mark 12:30

To me the most important verse concerning your heart is this one about salvation. This is the path…the path to salvation that you want to travel—and take as many people with you as possible.

If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

Prayer ~ Dear Lord, on this Valentines’ Day help me to share Your love from my heart. May all my family friends and neighbors seek to know and serve You with all their heart, soul, mind and strength—just as I do.
Happy Birthday, Kendall!
