In that day—the day of Messiah—in the
fullness of the Holy Spirit—the Spirit of Justice will be in judgment of all God’s
creation—everyone. From other scripture passages in Isaiah I think that this
fullness of the Holy Spirit hasn’t happened yet. The Judgment will be with absolute
integrity—a judging with righteousness. The final verdict is to be proclaimed
by Jesus, who was given authority by God the Father, with and through the Holy
Spirit. All in one…and one for all. That Spirit of Justice will be with an
eternal righteousness for the God-fearing believers and resulting in doom for
the evil doers. Where will you stand?
Notice
how God is both kind and severe. He is severe toward those who disobeyed, but
kind to you if you continue to trust in his kindness. But if you stop trusting,
you also will be cut off. ... I want you to understand this mystery, dear
brothers and sisters, so that you will not feel proud about yourselves. Some of
the people of Israel have hard hearts, but this will last only until the full
number of Gentiles comes to Christ. And so all Israel will be saved. As the
Scriptures say, "The one who rescues will come from Jerusalem, and he will
turn Israel away from ungodliness. And this is my covenant with them, that I
will take away their sins." Romans 11:22, 25-27 NLT. God loves His
chosen people…Jews and Gentiles those who love Him. Again, where do you stand with the Lord?
Prayer
~ Righteous and Holy God, give us eyes to see people as You see them. Give us
open ears to hear…as You hear. Give us willing hands and feet to go and serve
You…and may our thoughts, words and actions bring You glory, now and in the
final judgment.
