The disciples were astounded. "Then who
in the world can be saved?" they asked. Jesus looked at them intently and
said, "Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is
possible with God." Mark 10:26-27
In the Old Testament there are examples of
the fact that everything is possible with God. Recall when the three men…presumed
to be two angels and Jesus…visited Abraham and Sarah in the wilderness.
Is anything too hard for the LORD? I will
return about this time next year, and Sarah will have a son." Genesis
18:14
Nothing is too hard for God to accomplish. Near
the end of his trials Job spoke with the Lord…
Job replied to the LORD: "I know that
you can do anything, and no one can stop you." Job 42:1-2
When Mary was told that she would be the
Mother of Jesus the angel told her…
For nothing is impossible with God. Luke

Do you think that anything you are going
through is too hard for God’s help to conquer it? These examples pretty much
show us that God can do anything. Jesus was especially challenged about people
entering the Kingdom of God. Does that seem a little farfetched? To enter a
spiritual dimension…a spiritual Kingdom? We just don’t think in terms of other
dimensions…especially something spiritual. But Jesus has promised that whatever
we ask for, we will receive…we can do it.

lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my
name. John 15:16

I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, 'May you be lifted
up and thrown into the sea,' and it will happen. But you must really believe it
will happen and have no doubt in your heart. Mark 11:23
There is such power in prayer. It is
available…you just have to believe…and ask. Can you do that? Nothing is impossible
with God.
Prayer
~ God, help us to think big—and to pray for enormous miracles…for nothing is
impossible for You. Thank You for hearing our prayers.
