Several years
ago a very dear friend of ours quoted this passage. It became my husband’s
favorite verse and it changed his view of life—although he has always been a
positive and jovial person. For that I am grateful. That’s why I fell in love

Be quiet and listen!
Always listen before you speak.
And an all-time favorite that came about after a discussion with
our niece. It is a response to anything that one hears…and should direct our

Prayer
~ Lord, Thank You for these years You have blessed Jerry with…and the blessing
that he is within our family, to each person within our group of friends over
the years, and to our dear neighbors, too. May You continue to guide and direct
his paths, give him wisdom, keep him safe and healthy, and help us all to make
good decisions. We appreciate each day that You give us…and rejoice that this
is the day that You have made.
