Faith. Now
faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Hebrews
11:1. For we through the Spirit, by
faith, are waiting for the hope of righteousness. Galatians 5:5. Faith and
Hope. Those two qualities are so intertwined. There is no faith without
hope…and no hope without faith. Faith for what we don’t see and hope for that
same unseen thing. In this case it is faith in the Lord Jesus Christ—who we
don’t see now—but hope to see Him one day. That Day of the Lord when He returns
is the ultimate hope. It will be a
wonderful day for those who believe in Jesus…although some people have
portrayed it as an awful day. One in which people will be filled with terror
because of the destruction of the earth. For Christians we can rejoice in that
Day—it will be the day of our home going—our time to be with our adopted
father—the Heavenly Father. Going to His Home—Heaven. Cling to your hope. I am
waiting eagerly for that day—with great hope.
Prayer
~ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His
great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the
resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to obtain an inheritance which is
imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for us,
who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be
revealed in the last time. 1 Peter 1:3-5.
