Full of Joy

If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.  John 15:10-11

Full of Joy. Life has trials…but we can be grateful and even rejoice knowing God.
In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials, so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ; and though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, - 1 Peter 1:6-8
You think of joy at Christmas time…but it can be a year around experience. Choose to rejoice daily. A few days ago I was at the grocery store and three firemen came into the check stand right after me. The clerk, while still ringing up my groceries, asked them how their day was going. The oldest fireman said, “Great. Every day is a holiday.” I thought about that for a couple of hour…for the rest of the day actually. It wasn’t a holiday…but every day is a holiday…a holy day. God is with us. That makes it holy. Live—abide—in His love. His joy. That will make your joy full. Inexpressibly full.  Let your light shine…let your joy show. Smile and be joyful. Does that give you joy in your life? Let the darkness out and the joy come into your life.

RSVP: Jesus is offering you a ray of sunshine and joy for your life today. How will you respond to Him?

Prayer~ Jesus, shine Your love and joy into my life, into my heart today.
