| Harmony with the French Horn We can't all play the melody line. Harmonize...together. |
And I heard a sound from heaven
like the roar of mighty ocean waves or the rolling of loud thunder. It was like
the sound of many harpists playing together. This great choir sang a wonderful
new song in front of the throne of God and before the four living beings and
the twenty-four elders. No one could learn this song except the 144,000 who had
been redeemed from the earth. Revelation
14:2-3
Living in
harmony is more than just for music. For people to live in harmony they need be
willing to accept others and blend their own wishes and desires to encourage—not
just tolerate—others.
Accept
other believers who are weak in faith, and don't argue with them about what
they think is right or wrong.
Romans 14:1
We
should help others do what is right and build them up in the Lord. For even
Christ didn't live to please himself. As the Scriptures say, "The insults
of those who insult you, O God, have fallen on me." Such things were
written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us. And the Scriptures give us hope
and encouragement as we wait patiently for God's promises to be fulfilled. ...
Therefore, accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will
be given glory. Romans 15:2-4, 7
Yes. It is good to live in harmony
with others, accepting and encouraging them. God loves us—we should love
others. Are you living in harmony? Good question for me…and you.
How wonderful and pleasant it is
when brothers live together in harmony! Psalm 133:1 NLT
I appeal to you, dear brothers and
sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with
each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind,
united in thought and purpose. 1
Corinthians 1:10
Meditate. Consider God’s guidance
in scripture.
Prayer – Lord God, thank you for Your
love and guidance in life.
Verse of Salvation ~ For God loved
the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who
believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into
the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. There is
no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe
in him has already been judged for not believing in God's one and only Son. John 3:16-18
My gratitude for today: Living in harmony. Watching birds fly—and feeling
blessed. Knowing God loves us.
