Love God...Love Others?

Not everyone is the same.
Love one another.

Love and Respect. You gotta love yourself to respect yourself—gotta love yourself to love others. Think about it. Can you respect others if you don’t respect yourself? It starts and goes beyond the treat others the way you want to be treated…the Golden Rule as found in Matthew 7:1-2. Love and respect yourself the way you want others to love and respect you—with honor, honesty, integrity, kindness, wisdom and understanding. You may feel that you aren’t worthy of that. I’m not smart—so ask God for wisdom.

If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. - James 1:5-6

Jesus promised that we would get whatever we ask for, if we believe.

You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it." Matthew 21:22

You are worthy…remembering that if you have accepted Jesus as your Savior, you are a child of the King…an adopted child of God.

But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. They are reborn—not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God. John 1:12-13

Do you respect The King? Then you can respect His son or daughter…that would be YOU!  The choice is yours.

One day an expert in religious law stood up to test Jesus by asking him this question: "Teacher, what should I do to inherit eternal life?" Jesus replied, "What does the law of Moses say? How do you read it?" The man answered, "'You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.' And, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'" "Right!" Jesus told him. "Do this and you will live!" Luke 10:25-28

Prayer – Lord Jesus, I love you with all of my heart, soul, mind and strength. Help me to see myself as You see me…and to love myself so that I can love others for You.

Meditate. Consider God’s love.

Verse of Salvation ~ If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. Romans 10:9-10
