Do You Feel Safe and Secure?

It is good to recognize where we feel safe. Do you feel safe at home, at work, in your community, in our country—or how about when you are traveling, in an unfamiliar place or in a foreign country?

You need not be afraid of sudden disaster or the destruction that comes upon the wicked, for the LORD is your security. He will keep your foot from being caught in a trap. Proverbs 3:25-26

Safety and security bring peace of mind. I find that security in God…knowing that He is always with me…and has promised that He will not leave me or forsake me. Hebrews 13:5. I lock my doors at night…and when I am gone, trusting that God will keep me—and my family—safe.  There is an American proverb that says…It is better to be safe than sorry. To me, that is common sense. I feel like I’m trusting God as I sleep securely in my home and travel down the road with my doors locked. Knowing God is nearby providing security and safety gives me peace of mind. He promised that He is our security. Do you feel safe and secure?

Shelter Under His Wings
Protection - Safety and Security
Do Not be Afraid
Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the LORD: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease. He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day. Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. Psalm 91:1-6

Prayer ~ Lord, I am not afraid of sudden disaster or the destruction that comes upon the wicked, for I am trusting You to provide security and safety for me, my family, friends and neighbors. Thank You.

Meditate. No Fear. Rest. Stay Calm.

Verse of Salvation ~ (Just before the Hebrew people crossed the Red Sea after leaving Egypt.) But Moses told the people, "Don't be afraid. Just stand still and watch the LORD rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again. The LORD himself will fight for you. Just stay calm." Exodus 14:13-14
