Once Again a Warning to Listen

Prayer – Lord, there are so many mysteries in the Bible—especially in the Book of Revelation. Help me to understand the relevance to me, my family, friends and neighbors. Some of the end times warnings You gave us are only for the Jews. May You open the eyes and hearts of those Jews that I know that You would become their Messiah.

Write this letter to the angel of the church in Ephesus. This is the message from the one who holds the seven stars in his right hand, the one who walks among the seven gold lampstands: I know all the things you do. I have seen your hard work and your patient endurance. I know you don't tolerate evil people. You have examined the claims of those who say they are apostles but are not. You have discovered they are liars. You have patiently suffered for me without quitting. ...Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches. Revelation 2:1-3, 29

Meditate. Read God’s word and listen to what He is saying.

Listen - Repent
New Beginning with the Messiah
New Life in Christ

This message to the Seven Churches. the seven lampstands, is written to the 144 thousand Jews who become believers in Jesus Christ as their Messiah in these end times. They’ve been prophesied to by the Two Witnesses, repented of their sins and become believers. Now Jesus, the one who hold the seven stars and walks among the seven lampstands, is giving them this message. They need to listen to the Spirit and understand. He gives a specific message to each of the seven churches. He repeats over and over, listen, throughout His letter to the churches in Revelation two and three. Read them for yourself and count the number of times that Jesus commands those new believers to listen. Is that same message to us? Are we listening to Christ…to God’s word? Which part should we be listening to…the Old Testament or the New Testament…or both? What are we supposed to do with this knowledge? Listen and obey. Repent. Repentance is not just a one-time event—but an ongoing attitude of surrender to the Lord. Be a faithful follower. Be ready for His return. Jesus gave us that warning. Are you ready?

Verse of Salvation ~ I want you to understand this mystery, dear brothers and sisters, so that you will not feel proud about yourselves. Some of the people of Israel have hard hearts, but this will last only until the full number of Gentiles comes to Christ. And so all Israel will be saved. As the Scriptures say, "The one who rescues will come from Jerusalem, and he will turn Israel away from ungodliness. And this is my covenant with them, that I will take away their sins.” Romans 11:25-27
