The Sun Always Shines

Meditate.

No longer will you need the sun to shine by day, nor the moon to give its light by night, for the LORD your God will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory. Your sun will never set; your moon will not go down. For the LORD will be your everlasting light. Your days of mourning will come to an end. Isaiah 60:19-20

We will live…truly live by the light of the Lord. No darkness. No sadness or mourning. Sounds like Heaven.

No longer will there be a curse upon anything. For the throne of God and of the Lamb will be there, and his servants will worship him. And they will see his face, and his name will be written on their foreheads. And there will be no night there—no  need for lamps or sun—for the Lord God will shine on them. And they will reign forever and ever. Revelation 22:3-5

I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, "Look, God's home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them. Revelation 21:3

It is more than a dream. It is a promise. What a great day that will be. The beginning of a great life…a great everlasting life. No darkness…no fear…no tears. I so love the sunshine—and look forward to it every day here. Gray days instill depression. Yes, sunshine is great…and when the sunshine is from the Son, it will be a glorious day. What a great day that will be.

Will you be there…in Heaven where the sun always shines. Does the Lord provide your everlasting light? Will there be no mourning for you?

Time is running out. If you haven’t made a decision to choose to have the Lord as your Savior, then today is the day. Make your decision.

Acknowledge that you are a sinner, just like everyone else. Romans 3:10.
Believe that Jesus is the Son of God and was raised from the dead. Romans 10:9-10
Call on the name of the Lord and you will be saved. Romans 10:13

Don’t wait. Life is short and we don’t know when our time is up…or when the Lord will return for His church.

Prayer ~ Lord Jesus, forgive me for my sins. Wash me white as snow. Thank you that you came to save…not only me…but everyone who seeks you as the Son of God…as our Savior. Thank you for giving up Your life for us.

Verse of Salvation ~ The LORD is my light and my salvation—so why should I be afraid? The LORD is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble? Psalm 27:1
