Memory Verse of the Week ~
Do
not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world,
you do not have the love of the Father in you. 1 John 2:15
Jesus Loves Me This I Know
Jesus loves
me this I know
For the Bible
tells me so.
Little ones
to Him belong,
They are
weak, but He is strong.
Yes, Jesus
loves me.
Yes, Jesus
loves me.
Yes, Jesus
loves me.
The Bible
tells me so.
This is a
song that all little children who go to Sunday School…or have loving
grandmothers…learn when they are three or four years old. They may even learn
the hand motions or sign language with the words. Deep within their hearts is
planted the knowledge and conviction that they are loved. Being loved is the
greatest emotion that a human experiences.
Even the dogwood cries out, "The Lord is Risen" Jesus Loves Me...and You |
Can anything ever separate us from Christ's love?
Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are
persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? Romans 8:35
Do you feel
loved by God even in times of distress or trouble?
Prayer
~ Lord Jesus, Thank you for loving us enough to die for us on the cross and for
not only the song…but also the very words of the Bible that promise Your love
for us.
