Memory Verse of the Week ~
I
have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you
may know you have eternal life. 1 John 5:13
You have
eternal life. Eternal life with God…or eternal life without God. The choice is
yours. Forever is a long time. I will be singing praises to Jesus forever...in heaven. Just
think how it was at His triumphal entry into Jerusalem the week before He died.
Crowds were singing praises to Him.
When he reached the place where the road started
down the Mount of Olives, all of his followers began to shout and sing as they
walked along, praising God for all the wonderful miracles they had seen.
"Blessings on the King who comes in the name of the LORD! Peace in heaven,
and glory in highest heaven!" Luke 19:37-38

At this
triumphal entry the crowds thought that Jesus was to be their political savior…but
He is our spiritual savior. The Messiah. Blessed is He who comes in the name of
the Lord. Those who believe in the name of the Son of God…those who believe in
Jesus…will have eternal life. Will you be singing praises to Jesus…forever in heaven? God loves you...and wants you to be with Him...forever.
Prayer
~ Jesus, Just as Your followers glorified You as You entered Jerusalem singing
praises to You, I lift Your name in song, joyfully praising You. May all that I
think, sing, say and do bring glory and honor to You. You are blessed!
