Watching the sky today? This is a rare
occasion to see a solar eclipse. Millions of people are watching the sky today
to hopefully, safely, catch a glimpse of the moon passing between the earth and
the sun, creating a solar eclipse across the United States. Where I live in
Washington State we will experience 96.2% of the eclipse at 10:23 AM. It is
going to be exciting! Everyone on earth will declare His glory when they see
the wonders of His creation from coast to coast in the US—and via TV and the
internet they will see His glory as it
happens.
The heavens declare His righteousness, and
all the peoples have seen His glory. Psalm 97:6 NASB
Let them give glory to the LORD and declare His
praise in the coastlands. Isaiah 42:12 NASB
Praise Him, sun and moon! Praise him, all
you twinkling stars! Psalm 148:3
Worship the LORD in all His holy splendor.
Let all the earth tremble before Him. Tell all the nations, "The LORD
reigns!" The world stands firm and cannot be shaken. He will judge all
peoples fairly. Let the heavens be glad, and the earth rejoice! Let the sea and
everything in it shout His praise! Psalm 96:9-11
Worship the Lord—in all His glory—as the
eclipse happens—Give Him the Glory.
Praise God from whom all glory flows.
Praise Him as earth below. Praise Him above all heavenly hosts—Praise Father,
Son and Holy Ghost.
Prayer
~ Heavenly Father—I praise You in the Heavens and the Earth. May Your glory be
magnified today and may more people see You as their Creator as they witness
the eclipse.
