Having just
experienced Resurrection Sunday—known to most as “Easter Sunday”—the music of
the day is still going around in my head. Grateful praise. Praising the
Heavenly Father for raising His Son Jesus from the dead—“Up from the Grave He
Arose” is a mighty victorious song. “Worthy Is The Lamb”…Holy, Holy is He. “Jesus
Paid It All”…all to Him I owe—sin had left a crimson stain—He washed it white
as snow. “How Deep The Father’s Love For Us” expresses just how much God the
Father loves not only Jesus—but us. Let us show our gratitude in praise to Him.
Training Tip – Sing again some of the songs you sang on Easter
Sunday. If you didn’t attend a service on that day—choose a favorite song and
sing it to the Lord God. He is worthy of your grateful praise. Don’t just sing
about God, or about Jesus—sing to Him. If your children do not know the song—teach
it to them. Children are just sponges and soak up what they see and hear. Make
a joyful noise to the Lord—together.
Lord God—You are worthy of our praise. Accept this
joyful singing as an act of worship and grateful praise. We love You, Lord.
