Prayer
– Lord Jesus, You want people to listen—and no where is that more evident that
in the Book of Revelation. Open my ears—as well as my heart—to know You and Your
promises. I’m trusting in You to keep Your promises.
Anyone
with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to
the churches. To everyone who is victorious I will give fruit from the tree of
life in the paradise of God. Revelation
2:7
Anyone
with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to
the churches. Whoever is victorious will not be harmed by the second death. Revelation 2:11
Anyone
with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to
the churches. To everyone who is victorious I will give some of the manna that
has been hidden away in heaven. And I will give to each one a white stone, and
on the stone will be engraved a new name that no one understands except the one
who receives it. Revelation
2:17
To
all who are victorious, who obey me to the very end, To them I will give
authority over all the nations. They will rule the nations with an iron rod and
smash them like clay pots. They will have the same authority I received from my
Father, and I will also give them the morning star! Anyone with ears to hear
must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches. Revelation 2:26-29
All
who are victorious will be clothed in white. I will never erase their names
from the Book of Life, but I will announce before my Father and his angels that
they are mine. Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and
understand what he is saying to the churches. Revelation 3:5-6
All
who are victorious will become pillars in the Temple of my God, and they will
never have to leave it. And I will write on them the name of my God, and they
will be citizens in the city of my God--the new Jerusalem that comes down from
heaven from my God. And I will also write on them my new name. Anyone with ears
to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the
churches. Revelation
3:12-13
Those
who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and
sat with my Father on his throne. Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the
Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches. Revelation 3:21-22
Meditate.
Consider God’s promises for listening.
I prayed to the LORD my God and confessed: "O Lord, you are a great and awesome God! You always fulfill your covenant and keep your promises of unfailing love to those who love you and obey your commands.” Daniel 9:4 (Underlined for emphasis.)
God made
promises to Abraham and his descendants—that He would give them the Promised
Land…and He did. Jesus promised that He would go and prepare a place for us…and
that He would come back for us when everything was ready.
Don't let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father's home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am. John 14:1-3
Is that
place just about ready? It takes a while to build a really great house—but after
about two thousand years is it almost finished? I’m trusting in the Lord to
keep His promises. Have you made the choice to trust Him, too?

of Salvation ~ After this, I heard what sounded like a vast crowd in heaven
shouting, "Praise the LORD! Salvation and glory and power belong to our
God. Revelation
