Fellowship and Caring

Meditate.

And we know that the Son of God has come, and he has given us understanding so that we can know the true God. And now we live in fellowship with the true God because we live in fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ. He is the only true God, and he is eternal life. 1 John 5:20

Our goal is to know the Lord more each day…to understand Him…and with His wisdom and understand, serve Him.

When the ground soaks up the falling rain and bears a good crop for the farmer, it has God's blessing. But if a field bears thorns and thistles, it is useless. The farmer will soon condemn that field and burn it. Dear friends, even though we are talking this way, we really don't believe it applies to you. We are confident that you are meant for better things, things that come with salvation. For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do. Our great desire is that you will keep on loving others as long as life lasts, in order to make certain that what you hope for will come true. Then you will not become spiritually dull and indifferent. Instead, you will follow the example of those who are going to inherit God's promises because of their faith and endurance. Hebrews 6:7-12

Jesus fed 5,000 men and families with a couple of fish.
What are you doing to feed the hungry?

We live in fellowship with God and with Christ Jesus. This God of ours is the true God—just, loving and caring. He has promised us blessings—greatest of all to me is the one that “He will never leave us or forsake us.” We know God cares for us. Are we showing His love to others? Do you do as the writer of Hebrews noted: He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do…? Are you caring for other believers? Make it a goal for today to share and show your caring love for those you know who serve our risen Lord and Savior. I know I need to be better at this.

Prayer ~ Lord, help me seek to know You more each day in our fellowship and to serve others for You. Please continue bless Isaac with Your wisdom and understanding.

Verses of Salvation ~ I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. For there is only one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity--the man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:1-5 (Underlined for emphasis.)

Happy Birthday Isaac.

May God Continue to Bless You as You Mature in Christ.
