Stay True to the Lord

Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stay true to the Lord. I love you and long to see you, dear friends, for you are my joy and the crown I receive for my work. Philippians 4:1

We will be changed...like the butterfly.
Therefore …we are told that something significant was said before…so let’s look at what Paul wrote in the previous chapter.
But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior. He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control. Philippians 3:20-21
We are saved…and waiting for Christ’s return. He will change us…to be like Him. Once again, Paul is giving such good advice to the church at Philippi and to us. Stay true to the Lord. Don’t waver—stand fast…true to the Lord…for there is security in the Lord. Paul is telling this to his dear friends who bring joy to his life. Do you tell your dear friends the same thing? Stay true to the Lord. Do you encouragement them—as Paul encouraged the Philippians?

Prayer ~ Jesus, thank you for my dear friends. Help us to stay true to You. Open our eyes and hearts to opportunities to share the facts of Your death and resurrection. Help us to live our Christianity in such a way that others will be curious and want to know more about You.
