Go…Preach…Make Disciples

And then he (Jesus) told them, "Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages. They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won't hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed."  Mark 16:15-18

As prophesied in Isaiah…
The baby will play safely near the hole of a cobra. Yes, a little child will put its hand in a nest of deadly snakes without harm. Isaiah 11:8
Other signs are not obviously mentioned in the Old Testament—but these are mentioned in the New Testament. Search them out for yourself. The only other gospel books give the Jesus Great Commission is the Book of Matthew where at the end of His ministry He tells His disciples…
Baptism in the Jordan River - Israel
"I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Matthew 28:18-20
Do you consider yourself a disciple…a follower…of Jesus Christ? Are you making disciples of others, teaching them to obey Jesus’ commands?

Prayer ~ Lord, I thank you that You have promised to be with us always. Help us to witness in such a way that we would draw others to You thus enlarging Your church…on earth as it is in heaven…making disciples for You.
