Thankful?

Let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts. Colossians 3:15-16 NLT

This is the time of the year to give thanks. What are you thankful for this year? I’m still rejoicing and giving thanks to our Lord and precious savior for the miracle of healing our new grandbaby from a cyst on her brain and possible heart abnormalities. A true miracle. Thank You, Jesus. Tears of joy well up in my eyes as I praise You, Jesus. Healthy babies are a joy.

Look for ways that God has been working in your life and give Him “Thanks” for those blessings. If you haven’t read the book One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp yet—please consider it for your next read. She focuses on how God works in our lives—during the good time and the not so good times---and giving eucharisteo – Grateful Thanks—for all the blessings that God give us. Praise God from whom all blessing flow.

RSVP: Jesus is inviting us to give Him thanks for all He does in our lives. How will you respond to Him today?

Prayer ~ We give thanks to You and to God the Father for all things in Your name, Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 5:20.

Happy Thanksgiving!
