Genesis 7: 21-22
God told Noah, “Take for yourself some of all food (also see Genesis 1:29) plants, seeds and fruit for you and for them, the animals.” Noah did as God told him to do.
Filling up the ark with food for all the animals must have been a huge task in itself. You might think that there was not much time to sit down and enjoy a leisurely meal. Priorities. There is always time for things we want to do whether it is time for reading God’s word, feasting on spiritual food, playing with your kids or grandkids, watching your favorite TV program, exercising, hanging out with friends, crafts, hobbies, or preparing a wonderful gourmet meal. Take a look at your priorities today and see if you are setting aside time for a “meal with the King”.
Lord, help me evaluate my priorities and choose to put you first, to be obedient like Noah.

I think society tells us that it is good to be busy. The more you can fit into your schedule the better. This often leads to time with God deminishing until it is completely gone.
