Begin with Faithfulness

Prayer – Lord God, what a wonderful gift You gave us, expecting nothing in return. Your Son—as the sacrifice for our sin—wrapped in love. May our relationship bridge always be as strong as Your love for us—and that is beyond measure or expectation. Thank You.

So you must remain faithful to what you have been taught from the beginning. If you do, you will remain in fellowship with the Son and with the Father. And in this fellowship we enjoy the eternal life he promised us. 1 John 2:24-25

Meditate. Consider God’s guidance in scripture. Read God’s word and listen to what He is saying.

What is in the gift from God?
Eternal life?
Remain faithful. Staying loyal and devoted to Him is just what God expects of us. He loves us…we love Him. Should we “expect” something in return? How about the “eternal life” that He promised us? Yes. We can bask in His love forever, even today, because of His promise. God is faithful to us—to give us the gift of His promise—even His Son, Jesus Christ. How will we respond to His gift? It begins with faithfulness.

Verse of Salvation ~ And we know that the Son of God has come, and he has given us understanding so that we can know the true God. And now we live in fellowship with the true God because we live in fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ. He is the only true God, and he is eternal life. 1 John 5:20
