Meditate. Do you like to be treated kindly?
Do to others as you would like them to do to you. Luke 6:31
For you
will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the
standard by which you will be judged. Matthew 7:2
Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets. Matthew 7:12
That’s the
Golden Rule. Treat others the way you want to be treated. Kindness begets
kindness—likewise anger or hatred begets anger or hatred. How do you want to be
treated?
Christians are viewed by others in especially the way they treat each other. If you can’t treat your Christian brothers and sisters graciously, then will others want to become followers of Christ? Not likely. Good motivation for being kind to one another.
Don't use foul or abusive language. Let
everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an
encouragement to those who hear them. And do not bring sorrow to God's Holy
Spirit by the way you live. Remember, he has identified you as his own,
guaranteeing that you will be saved on the day of redemption. Get rid of all
bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil
behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one
another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you. Ephesians 4:29-32
(Underlined for emphasis.)
Live and treat
others like you want to be treated.
Don't repay evil for evil. Don't
retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing.
That is what God has called you to do, and he will bless you for it. 1
Peter 3:9
Prayer ~ Dear Lord—please bless Naomi and help her to treat others the way You want her to be treated with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Verse of Salvation ~ For Jesus is the one referred to in the Scriptures, where it says, 'The stone that you builders rejected has now become the cornerstone.' There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. Acts 4:11-12
