Meditate.
"So you, too, must keep watch! For you don't know what day your Lord is coming. Understand this: If a homeowner knew exactly when a burglar was coming, he would keep watch and not permit his house to be broken into. You also must be ready all the time, for the Son of Man will come when least expected. Matthew 24:42-44
When do you expect the Son of Man to
return? When is the time that is least
expected? Is it the next Jewish Festival that has not been fulfilled? That
would be the Feast of Trumpets or Rash HaShanah, also known as the Jewish New
Year and Day of Judgment, which occurs this year beginning at sunset on Friday,
September 18th through sunset on Sunday, September 20th.
Sound the alarm in Jerusalem! Raise the
battle cry on my holy mountain! Let everyone tremble in fear because the day of
the LORD is upon us. Joel 2:1Peace for Jerusalem

Keep Watch. Be Ready.
That terrible day of the LORD is near. Swiftly it comes—a day of bitter tears, a day when even strong men will cry out. It will be a day when the LORD's anger is poured out—a day of terrible distress and anguish, a day of ruin and desolation, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness, a day of trumpet calls and battle cries. Down go the walled cities and the strongest battlements! Zephaniah 1:14-16
The idea is to be ready ALL the time—because that is just what Jesus said to do. Keep watch…and be ready. The rapture is coming…someday. Will you be ready?
First things first. You must accept Jesus Christ as your Savior. He died on the cross for all our sins. What is keeping you from accepting what Christ did for you? Can you humble yourself to admit that just like everyone else in the world, you are a sinner? Read Romans 3:23. All have sinned. Can you believe…have a little faith to see the big picture? God has a plan and He loved you so much that He gave up His one and only Son so that you could have eternal life. Be part of that plan...believe. Then call on the name of the Lord. That’s right. Call out to Jesus—tell Him you want Him to be part of your life…and that you want to be part of His family.
Are you ready…for whatever happens…whenever it happens? Be Ready.
Prayer ~ Lord God, Be merciful to me, O Lord, for I am calling on you constantly. Give me happiness, O Lord, for I give myself to you. O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help. Listen closely to my prayer, O LORD; hear my urgent cry. I will call to you whenever I'm in trouble, and you will answer me. Psalm 86:3-7
Verse of Salvation ~ What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don't show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone? James 2:14
