Find your rest in Jesus. Sit and contemplate what He did for you. Gaiser Conservatory - Manito Park Spokane, Washington USA |
I feel so loved and blessed to be chosen—that’s right CHOSEN—to know the Heavenly Father. What a privilege—to be eternally known by the Son and the Father. Humbling. Exalting. Have you responded to God's call to repent and accept Jesus as your Savior? Rest in Him--the choice is yours.
At
that time Jesus prayed this prayer: "O Father, Lord of heaven and earth,
thank you for hiding these things from those who think themselves wise and
clever, and for revealing them to the childlike. Yes, Father, it pleased you to
do it this way! "My Father has entrusted everything to me. No one truly
knows the Son except the Father, and no one truly knows the Father except the
Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him." Then Jesus said,
"Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will
give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and
gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to
bear, and the burden I give you is light." Matthew 11:25-30
Prayer
– Lord, Thank you for revealing yourself and the Heavenly Father to us. Thank
you—it seems hardly enough to say that, Lord. We find our rest in You—our strength
and our peace. You gave so much so that we could gain eternity with You.
Meditate on
God’s word and listen to what He is saying.
Verse
of Salvation ~ The message of the cross is foolish to those who are headed for
destruction! But we who are being saved know it is the very power of God. 1 Corinthians 1:18
