Love

Meditate on love…God’s gift. Is that your gift to others?

For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. John 3:16-17

Love.

Prayer ~ God, Your pure and simple love—giving Your one and only Son as a sacrifice for my sin is overwhelming. Sometimes, I don’t feel very loved until I consider Your love. It is the greatest love ever expressed. Certainly I can love You…and others as myself…as You have commanded. Thank You for giving the utmost love for me…and all of mankind. I praise You…for You are worthy of praise and adoration…You are worthy of love.

Verses of Salvation ~ But let us who live in the light be clearheaded, protected by the armor of faith and love, and wearing as our helmet the confidence of our salvation. For God chose to save us through our Lord Jesus Christ, not to pour out his anger on us. Christ died for us so that, whether we are dead or alive when he returns, we can live with him forever. So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:8-11
