November 24 - The Reason for the Season

Thomas said to Him, "Lord, we do not know where You are going, how do we know the way?" Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me." John 14:5-6 

The Way. The Truth. The Life.

Truth be told Jesus is the only way to Heaven—to eternal life on the positive side of things. Jesus is our Way. Our way to eternal life. Our way to love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, as listed in Galatians 5:22-23. 

Jesus is the truth—the epitome of honesty. He never told a lie. He offers us truth. He offers us life—with Him, eternally. 

Peace is special at this time of the year. Peace in the world and peace in our hearts. This is the season of unmet expectations—may God give you the grace to look past disappointments and keep your eyes on Jesus—the reason for the season that begins right after Thanksgiving—the Christmas Season. Jesus came to show us The Way, The Truth, and The Life. To share Himself with the world.  

Thank you Jesus for opening our eyes to see You for You are The Way, The Truth, and The Life.
