Then Peter called to him, "Lord, if it's really you, tell me to come to you, walking on the water." "Yes, come," Jesus said. So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. But when he saw the strong wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink. "Save me, Lord!" he shouted. Jesus immediately reached out and grabbed him. "You have so little faith," Jesus said. "Why did you doubt me?" Matthew 14:28-31
Meditate
on trust.
Jesus
is challenging us to have faith. Don’t doubt that He can help you. How will you
respond to Him today? What do you learn about Jesus' character from this passage?
Prayer
~ Dear God—if ever I doubt, help my unbelief. I trust You—Father, Jesus, and
Holy Spirit—to work miracles in my life and in that of my family, friends, and
neighbors. I worship You in spirit and in truth. May You guide and direct us
all as we trust and worship You.
Verse
of Salvation ~ For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right
with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. Romans 10:10
