What Difference Does It Make?

Prayer – Lord, Thank you for sending people to teach me your ways! You’ve made such a difference in my life. I once was sad…and mad—but now I’m glad—filled with joy. You are amazing and I just feel better—have a better outlook on life and death—with joy in my heart. Your grace is sufficient for me guiding me to remember how much You love me.

You have been believers so long now that you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need someone to teach you again the basic things about God's word. You are like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food. For someone who lives on milk is still an infant and doesn't know how to do what is right. Solid food is for those who are mature, who through training have the skill to recognize the difference between right and wrong. Hebrews 5:12-14 NLT

Meditate. Read God’s word and consider His guidance in scripture.

Training. That’s what I’ve had for over the years. That gave me the ability to lead Ladies Bible Studies, Vacation Bible Classes, and teach Sunday School for 5,7-, 8-, 10- & 11-year-olds…and then adult ladies—those who were worshiping alone. I was blessed with the opportunity to serve them.

God will never leave us or forsake us.
Ring written in Hebrew.
Without Jesus as my Savior, my life would have been different. I was a sharp tongued, rebellious young person when I chose to have Jesus redeem my sins--to take them to His cross in my place. It was a divergent point in my life that I made that choice--otherwise I would have gone down a path to drug and probably alcohol addiction. But by the grace of God, I'm where I am today, knowing the difference between right and wrong...and choosing to live in the right way to please God. Decisions have a ripple effect--impacting those around us and our future. I thank the Lord every day for my family and friends who also love and serve Him. God has promised to never leave us or forsake us. Likewise, I have promised Him that I will never leave Him or forsake Him. He makes a difference in my life...daily. How about you? Do you choose to let Jesus make a difference in your life?

Verses of Salvation ~ Dear friends, you always followed my instructions when I was with you. And now that I am away, it is even more important. Work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying God with deep reverence and fear. For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him. Do everything without complaining and arguing, so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people. Hold firmly to the word of life; then, on the day of Christ's return, I will be proud that I did not run the race in vain and that my work was not useless. But I will rejoice even if I lose my life, pouring it out like a liquid offering to God, just like your faithful service is an offering to God. And I want all of you to share that joy. Philippians 2:12-17 NLT
