Prayer – Lord, I believe that You are the
Great I AM. Please continue to reveal to me great truths about Yourself. You
are an awesome God—and I feel privileged to call You my Lord and Savior.
At one of the pivotal points in His ministry, Jesus asked His
disciples, “Who do you say I am?”Gates of Hell
Caesarea Philippi, Israel
When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his
disciples, "Who do people say that the Son of Man is?"
"Well," they replied, "some say John the Baptist, some say
Elijah, and others say Jeremiah or one of the other prophets." Then he
asked them, "But who do you say I am?" Simon Peter answered,
"You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God." Jesus replied,
"You are blessed, Simon son of John, because my Father in heaven has
revealed this to you. You did not learn this from any human being. Matthew 16:13-17 NLT
Meditate. Consider God’s guidance
in scripture. Read God’s word and listen to what He is saying.
Recently on Sunday we sang a Hillsong Worship chorus during church that repeated the words “I am who You say I am.” The lyrics include these words:
Who the Son sets
free/Oh, is free indeed/I'm a child of God, yes, I am…./ I am chosen, not
forsaken/I am who You say I am.
I kept thinking
about God’s response to Moses when asked “Who do I say sent me?” It was “I
AM”
God replied
to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. Say this to the people of Israel: I AM has sent me to
you.” Exodus 3:14
(NLT)
Likewise, Jesus made several I AM statements.
I am the living bread that came down from
heaven. Anyone who eats this bread will live forever; and this bread, which I
will offer so the world may live, is my flesh.” John 6:51 (NLT)
Jesus told
him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to
the Father except through me. John 14:6 (NLT)
Jesus told
her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in
me will live, even after dying. John 11:25 (NLT)
“I am
the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices his life for the sheep. John 10:11 (NLT)
Yes, I am
the gate. Those who come in through me will be saved. They will come and go
freely and will find good pastures. John 10:9 (NLT)
Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5 (NLT)
Has that truth been revealed to you? Has it sunk in—do you
really believe that Jesus is the great I AM in your heart? You have the choice
to choose Jesus as your Messiah, Savior, and Lord—day by day. Know that He is the Son of the Living God.
Who do I say I
am?
I’m a child of
God.
I’m a believer
in Jesus Christ—my Lord, my savior, my redeemer.
I’m a friend of
God. (Greater love has no man—or woman—but that he lay down his life for his
friend (John 15:13). I hope that I would have the obedience like Jesus and the
courage like Stephen to do just that if necessary.
Verses
of Salvation ~ I pray that your love will overflow more and more, and that you
will keep on growing in knowledge and understanding. For I want you to
understand what really matters, so that you may live pure and blameless lives
until the day of Christ's return. May you always be filled with the fruit of
your salvation--the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christ—for
this will bring much glory and praise to God. Philippians 1:9-11 NLT

Boba Tea that originated in Tiawan is such the rage right now in the world of drinks for pre-teen and anyone who likes a cool sweet beverage! It usually uses black tea, but any flavor of tea is that is acceptable and enjoyable is appropriate.
