One day some teachers of religious law and
Pharisees came to Jesus and said, "Teacher, we want you to show us a
miraculous sign to prove your authority." ...The queen of Sheba will also
stand up against this generation on judgment day and condemn it, for she came
from a distant land to hear the wisdom of Solomon. Now someone greater than
Solomon is here—but you refuse to listen. Matthew 12:38, 42

Do you refuse to listen to wisdom? Is it
the world’s wisdom…or is it God’s wisdom, like that taught by Solomon, that you
don’t hear or see? Do you want a “sign” from God…from Jesus…to show you some
miraculous thing so that you will believe
or will have greater faith? Are you willing to travel a distance to hear a word
of God? Is that distance really short…from your chair to the Internet? Jesus is
greater than Solomon. Do you hear His wisdom? He is NOT dead. He is still
speaking to us. Can you hear Him? Listen.
Prayer
~ Lord God, open our ears and hearts to listen to Your voice and truly hear You. May the words of Your heart and the meditations of our minds
bring glory to You as we focus on applying Your words to our lives.
