Round Barn - Vermont
Looks like a good place to store grain.
Actually, it is a museum now.

Wheat kernels are a wonderful fruit of the
grain. John is using an analogy that followers of Jesus will be like the fruit
who will be gathered into His barn…heaven. The chaff—those who don’t follow
Jesus—will be burned up. They won’t be going into Jesus’ heavenly home. Which
are you? Grain or chaff?
When my husband retired from the Air Force,
our family, hubby and me with two kids, went to stay with my folks for a while.
My Dad, who always was up early even when I was growing up, was the breakfast
fixer in the family. After wheat harvest that summer he had some fresh grain
which he soaked overnight and then fried up in the morning. I don’t recall
having that growing up—but he said that when he was a kid his mother used to
make it often. Fried Mush. It was tasty. He served it with warm fresh maple
syrup and you’d have thought you were at a breakfast banquet with fresh melon,
sausage, bacon and plenty of fried mush. My mouth is watering just thinking
about it. I think I’ll go put some grain to soak for morning breakfast.
Prayer ~ Dear Lord, Thank you for creating
wheat…and for using the wheat kernels as an analogy for Your believers—so that
we might know how valuable we are to You. You’ll take us to that great barn of
Yours…Your heavenly home…one day. Like John, we may feel unworthy to even carry
Your sandals—but You have chosen us as the fruit of Your labor—that precious
grain of wheat. Thank you.
